I'm excited that over the past few days the peonies in my garden have started to bloom. Along with my flowers, technology has been growing and changing this spring. In this month's newsletter I cover some recent WordPress news you may have missed, interesting links, and review a few recent blog posts.

WordPress news: many of my clients use Wordpress to power their web technology needs. Here are a few links of interest to some of the plugins they use.

current version: 4.5.2 (released May 6, 2016)
The plugin Jetpack was updated on May 27, 2016 to version 4.0.3. This is a critical security update so please check in your dashboard that you are on the current version. Not sure? Nervous to press update? I can help.
The ecommerce plugin WooCommerce is current with version 2.5.5. There is a new version (2.6) in beta, due to be released in in the next week or two. Is your site ready?

Interesting links: There are always fascinating links of interest that catch my eye.

I'm fascinated when textiles and technology intersect:

- Google and Levi’s finally announced their first collaborative garment
What I Learned Using An App To Design A House For Alzheimer’s Patients is a fascinating look at how good design can help everyone. While it focuses on interior home design, I think it covers truths for all design projects.
