New Project: pen at work!
Last summer, my world was turned upside down. It was then that I made unexpected discoveries of strength and resilience.

WordPress updates of interest
As always, there are updates! Is it important that you read the change logs? No, though I think it's a good idea. It is important to keep your WordPress system up-to-date. There are often new features that slip in which can improve how you work. If you have questions or are worried about updating, please contact me!
- Wordpress is at 4.9.7, this is a security and maintenance release was updated on July 5, 2018. This is a privacy and maintenance release to address a media issue that could potentially allow a user with certain capabilities to attempt to delete files outside the uploads directory. It also addresses seventeen other bugs. Gutenberg is coming, I'll have updates on what that means for you soon.
- WooCommerce is at 3.4.3 and was updated on June 20, 2018.
- Yoast SEO is at 7.8 and was released on July 10, 2018. This release improves Open Graph for the front page and fixes several bugs.
- Jetpack is at 6.3.2 and was released on July 4, 2018. This update fixes some bugs related to Simple Payment. Even if you aren't using this widget, I recommend updating!
