3 Fascinating Links

  1. Graphene-spiked Silly Putty picks up human pulse - A dash of graphene can transform the stretchy goo known as Silly Putty into a pressure sensor able to monitor a human pulse or even track the dainty steps of a small spider.
  2. The Greatest Science Books of 2016 by Maria Popova of Brain Pickings - I've read two of these (Black Hole Blues and Hidden Figures) and The Glass Universe is on my nightstand waiting for me to finish my current read (fiction by NK Jeminsin). There are now a few more books on my reading list.
  3. A Russian Trump fan is celebrating by hacking Google Analytics - whatever your politics, this really messes with analytics. This would in turn generate real visits to the hacker’s website, thus pushing it up the rating ladder.
