It's very easy to be overwhelmed by daily demands and interruptions. It is easy to be overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done and not acknowledge the accomplishments. Over the years I've fine-tuned my systems to help me stay motivated when the task list is daunting. This month, in my How I Work series, I shared why I say no to email notifications.

I wrote about how my early lessons learning to play flute and bassoon provided the tools to Think through IT. Music education is important!

A reminder to backup regularly and some tips about what to do after you backup.

The power of no(tification)

If you have a difficult time saying no, you are not alone. It is a word we often neglect to apply to our technological relationships.

I've said no to email notifications for years, this article explores why.
