December News & Notes from PennyWise Consulting, LLC
A month-end review of technology news and notes of interest for your small business. This month: the momentum of done, questions to ask before investing in a site all your own, and some links of interest.
It's time once again for News and Notes to be delivered direct to your inbox. If you are overwhelmed by this monthly newsletter, please follow the link at the bottom to unsubscribe. There are other ways to keep informed, the archive is accessible (there's a link at my site) and I also share the newsletter on Facebook and Twitter.
I hope all are enjoying a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season.
It's very easy to be overwhelmed by daily demands and interruptions. It is easy to be overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done and not acknowledge the accomplishments. Over the years I've fine-tuned my systems to help me stay motivated when the task list is daunting. This month, in my How I Work series, I shared my "done list". It's a nice way to track progress when working on a long-term project.
In helping you become more familiar with technology, I suggest a few questions to ask before you migrate from a free site to a site all your own.
And finally, WordPress 4.1 was released on December 18, 2014. This update provides distraction free writing and many other changes under the hood. If you have questions about updating, please ask!
Please let me know what I can do to help you work with technology.
